Black Entrepreneur’s Day

October 14 is Black Entrepreneur’s Day, started in 2020 by Daymond John, FUBU CEO and co-star of ABC’s Shark Tank. This new annual day is broadcast globally to spread awareness and support for Black entrepreneurship, with Black business icons like Shaquille O’Neal, Tyra Banks, and more. In the 2021 Black Entrepreneur’s Day, Mr. John partnered with the NAACP to award $250,000 in grants (10 total) for aspiring Black entrepreneurs, with applications closing in September.
